The Shrine Circus was in town yesterday and looks like it was a good one. I hear the Peruvian acrobat on the spinning contraption had everyone on the edge of their seats when he did his act blindfolded (you can see him bobble once in the video). Circus Chimera is another one that has come through Durango, but the show’s Web site indicates its foreign performers and staff had trouble obtaining visas in 2008. It’s not clear where or whether Chimera will tour in 2009.
